Forgiven

You can bottle up the mystery
Explain it scientifically
These grains of sand, these galaxies
These lives that we are living

While science struggles to explain
Crows fly and crickets sing
And waves go rolling cross the sea
Cause love keeps the whole thing spinning

And it’s only to our own regret
We question our own worthiness
And in our judgements we erect
The walls of our own prisons

How we long to let them go
Cast aside this heavy load
To be the way the river flows
Unburdened by resistance

But it matters not the road we take
Or our peculiar brand of faith
How often we might lose our way
Love will go on givin”

For all that is, ever was
All that will be comes because
Somewhere in this perfect love
All has been forgiven
