Captivating audiences in the Boulder/ Denver area with her sometimes jazzy kinda pop/folk sound, Kathy is happily being compared to some of her favorite songwriters like Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Shawn Colvin, among others. Dubbed a “master lyricist” by musical playwright Judylynn Schmidt, Kathy’s muse weaves the mundane with the metaphysical to form a truly uplifting tapestry of sound and images, encouraging us to: dream big, be unique, love deeply, live gratefully, forgive wholeheartedly, remember who you are.

Her songwriting hobby turned career pursuit in 2002 when Kathy entered a national songwriting competition and was named a top ten finalist (2 years in a row) and was invited to perform at the Wildflower Music Festival in TX. Shortly after, Kathy released her debut CD, Dream. Kathy has also been a finalist in Boulder’s Folk Awards and Denver’s Swallow Hill Annual Songwriter’s Competition and her lyrics have been published in Mystic Pop Magazine. Her new youtube music video featuring the song, All Is Given, has received a 5 star rating and rave reviews with over 4,000 views in just 2 months. Recent career highlights include opening for best selling authors and speakers, Dannion Brinkley (Save By The Light) and Terry Cole-Whitaker (What You Think of Me Is None of My Business).

Kathy is currently recording her 2nd CD with 2 time Grammy winning producer, Tom Wasinger, in Boulder, CO.
